Congressional Art Competition

Congresswoman Summer Lee, in partnership with the Congressional Institute, is excited to sponsor her second annual Congressional Art Competition! Our office is looking for talented young artists to create and submit one-of-a-kind pieces to represent Pittsburgh and the 12th Congressional District in the halls of Congress and in our DC and District Offices.

This competition will be open to all high school students within Pennsylvania’s 12th District, and will be open until April 12, 2024.

Once all of the submissions are received, Congresswoman Summer Lee and a panel of local artists will choose first, second and third place winners. An in-district ceremony will then take place to recognize the art and the artists!

The first place winner will also be invited to see their art displayed in the Capitol. The Congressional Institute and its sponsors have donated (2) round-trip tickets to Washington, DC for the Winner’s Reception at the Capitol Visitor Center Congressional Auditorium.

Please fill out this Student Release Form and send it back to our office to be considered: 2024 Student Release Form

The competition rules and guidelines can be found here: 2024 Rules and Guidelines

Constituents who are hard of hearing or use a video phone have the option to choose TDD or VP based on the type of device they are using. This allows our office to respond to them accordingly. The default option 'Voice' is a standard audible telephone.
