Summer Lee Hosts Second ‘Summer’s Senior Service Center’ Stop in Bethel Park

Washington, DC–  Today, Congresswoman Summer Lee’s team held another ‘Senior Service Center’ event in Bethel Park marking the second stop of many in her ‘Summer’s Senior Service Center’ series focused on helping seniors with Medicare, Social Security benefits, and much more. The first stop in the series was held in Murrysville in Westmoreland County.

Today, Summer Lee’s team offered the following services to the community:

  • Help with Casework
  • Free Vital Assessments
  • Health and Fitness Resources
  • Assistance with Medicare, Social Security & Veterans Benefits
  • Aid with Legal Questions
  • & Much More!

This is the second of many events Congresswoman Summer Lee will host across both Westmoreland and Allegheny county to bring resources and assistance to seniors and constituents in her district.

Lee said, “As your Congresswoman, I’m committed to being an accessible and available resource and advocate for each and every one of my constituents and their families, regardless of location or politics. So far, we have successfully assisted over 1,200 folks with a variety of concerns, ranging from local infrastructure issues like potholes, to securing passports and optimizing VA benefits. I am dedicated to enhancing the convenience with which my office can assist constituents, aiming to meet them where they are—and that is close to home. We’ve been out in Westmoreland, and today my team was in Bethel Park.”

Lee continued, “Even on the brink of Republican’s disastrous government shutdown, we’re focused on making sure every member of every community has the resources they need, the help they require, and the representation they deserve.”

Details will soon be released on the next stop in the series.
