Congresswoman Summer Lee & Community Leaders to Meet for Anti-Hunger Roundtable Discussion
As the Farm Bill approaches its expiration date, community members and food advocates are meeting with Congresswoman Summer Lee to discuss nutrition policies in the Farm Bill and Federal Appropriations. The goal for the event is to talk about anti-hunger policies in preparation for this year’s Farm Bill renewal and Appropriations. Advocates including both Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank, Westmoreland Food Bank, and many other community partners will share and discuss the state of hunger in the 12th district of Pennsylvania while discussing strengths, challenges, and opportunities around the current federal nutrition policies.
