WHAT: 

U.S. Rep. Summer Lee (D-Penn.) and Reta Jo Lewis, the President and Chair of the Export-Import Bank of the United States (EXIM), will convene local Pennsylvania government officials, small businesses and community organizations to discuss financing resources for local USexporters and helping PA and American businesses better compete in the global marketplace.

Lee joined the House Space Science and Technology Committee to deliver funding and resources to ensure Western Pennsylvania is best positioned to lead the country as a hub for innovation, technology, and manufacturing—and to ensure that marginalized communities are included and uplifted in the region’s economic growth.

The University of Pittsburgh and the Pennsylvania Small Business Development Center of will serve as co-hosts. Media are invited to film or record b-roll and audio of the roundtable discussion. Congresswoman Lee and Chair Lewis are also available for one-on-one interviews before or after the roundtable event.
