(PITTSBURGH, PA) – On Friday, February 2 at 11 am, Congresswoman Summer Lee (PA-12) will host a press conference and field hearing with the Pennsylvania Senate Democratic Policy Committee in Pittsburgh to highlight the successes of Pennsylvania’s groundbreaking Whole-Home Repairs Program (originally funded by the federal American Rescue Plan) and the need for further federal investment to continue the program and preserve affordable housing in the face of the Pittsburgh’s affordable housing crisis.
Less than a year after the distribution of funds, the Whole-Home Repairs program has already facilitated the repairs of hundreds of homes and changed thousands of lives, including many in Allegheny County.

- WHAT: Press Conference at home of an Allegheny County resident whose home was repaired through the Whole-Home Repairs program to discuss impact of program and imperative for federal investment to address home cost crisis
- WHO: U.S. Congresswoman Summer Lee (PA-12), Senator Katie Muth (D-Chester/Montgomery/Berks), Senator Nikil Saval (D-Philadelphia),Allegheny County Executive Sara Innamorato; State Rep. Jessica Benham; state Senator Lindsey Williams; Dan Sullivan, Housing Stabilization Program Manager, Action Housing; and the homeowner who benefitted from the program.

- WHAT: Following the press conference, the Senate Democratic Policy Committee will co-host a public hearing to provide an update on the rollout of the Whole-Home Repairs program.
- WHO: Committee Chair Senator Katie Muth, Senator Nikil Saval and Allegheny County state Senators Lindsey Williams, Wayne Fontana, and Jim Brewster
- WHEN: Friday, February 2 at 1:00 p.m.
- WHERE: Gold Room of the 4th floor of the Allegheny County Courthouse located at 436 Grant St., Pittsburgh, PA 15219.

The hearing will feature two panels of testimony that will include discussion on the impact and success of the Whole-Home Repairs program in Allegheny County and about how the program has rolled out across the Commonwealth.
