WEDNESDAY: SBA Administrator Isabella Casillas Guzman and U.S. Rep. Summer Lee Celebrate Agency’s 70th Anniversary and Black Business Month
Western Pennsylvania District Office Grand Opening Ceremony at 2:00 p.m.
PITTSBURGH — On Wednesday, August 2, SBA Administrator Isabella Casillas Guzman, the voice in President Biden’s Cabinet for America’s 33 million small businesses, will join Congresswoman Summer Lee (PA-12) to celebrate the SBA’s 70th Anniversary and Black Business Month with a visit to the agency’s new Western Pennsylvania District Office location.
Administrator Guzman and U.S. Rep. Summer Lee will spend the day meeting visiting local Black-owned small businesses to discuss the challenges minority entrepreneurs face in opening and growing small businesses and how the SBA can assist. They will also attend the ribbon cutting ceremony for the SBA’s new Western Pennsylvania District Office location.
